Gospel cello? 🎻 Got a church gig this Saturday! Bonus points if anyone can identify the hymn I’m improvising on here 😊. A lot of people don’t know I came up in the church. Sometimes, there wasn’t even an organist, so I learned to perform and improvise across all 12 keys, including in Gb—something cellists rarely do! People don’t know you can play gospel on the cello, but it’s actually possible, featuring my Gospel Cello Pedalboard (new video coming about this:)
