Tiled Clones Inkscape Tutorial – Part 2
Tiled clones in Inkscape give you a huge range of creative possibilities, allowing you to create mosaics from images, make halftone effects, produce logarithmic spirals, place objects evenly around a circle and more. So taking a little time to understand exactly what the Symmetry, Shift, Scale, Rotation, Blur & Opacity, Colour and Trace tabs are for and how to use them, is time well spent. I take a look at each tab in turn and demonstrate how to use them, combining the different functions to produce the effects you want to achieve.
There was a lot to cover for one video so I’ve split it into 2 parts, in Part 1, I cover the Symmetry, Shift, Scale and Rotation tabs – watch Part 1 first, as this video builds on the lessons in part 1. Blur & Opacity, Colour and Trace will be covered in this video.
