PS5 Unresponsive buttons Fix & Tips
Some pottential solution to unresponsive buttons on the PS5, make sure that the battery is charged. Because controllers close to having an empty battery may become unresponsive or laggy.
If the controller is charged, then you can reset your controller. This is actually the most effective solution. Take a sim ejection tool or a toothpick and press the button located here. In this small hole on the back of the controller is the reset button. Press and hold it for a few seconds. Then pair your controller again, either with a cable or with bluetooth. If you don’t know how to pair it, I will leave a link to a video that shows you how to do it.
You can also try to use a second controller, or if you don’t have any, you can plug in a PC keyboard, and go to settings, Accessibility, Controllers, go to custom button assignments and make sure this is disabled. Maybe this settings is messing up with the controller.
If these tips didn’t work, you might have to take your controller apart.
