Linghsa received criticism for her super lazy design because it was very similar to Sparkle wearing Tingyun's clothes. And because Linghsa took inspiration from Nuwa from Honkai Impact 3rd, they felt that Lingsha's design from Honkai Star Rail was less than satisfactory and they preferred Nuwa to be made a 5 star rather than Lingsha. She was also compared to Imbibitor lunae and Bailu because they are vidyadhara species, the difference being that Lingsha is not a high elder.
