Change Background Color in After Effects Tutorial
In this tutorial you’ll learn two ways to change the color of a composition’s background in After Effects.
Here’s a super quick recap:
Method 1: Use Cmd/Ctrl+K to access the Composition Settings. At the bottom is a Background Color box. Click it then choose a new color.
Method 2: Use Cmd/Ctrl+Y to create a new Solid layer. Make it the comp size and set the color in the box that appears after using the keyboard shortcut. If you want to change it, select the layer then use Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Y to access that Solid layer’s settings.
