Is Twitch Channel "Fextralife" View Botting?
If you watch Twitch at all, you've probably come across the channel called "Fextralife", with about 20,000 viewers on average. They have a few different streamers working on the channel, meaning very high amount of hours streamed. But, it still doesn't all add up. There is something fishy about the channel.
A quick search reveals that the channel is embedded on their wiki website, which opens on every page you visit there. This results in sort of "fake" viewership, because most people browsing that don't watch the stream. They've been doing this for so long, that they've actually managed to create a sizable organic viewership, due to front-page exposure (which the inflated viewership enabled). This is a grey area on Twitch, that, in my opinion, needs to be addressed. What are your thoughts?
