Boar laming has been a thing in Age of Empires 2 for a very long time. It's popular across all skill levels, and we're even seeing it at the biggest tournaments. As players got better with time, the boar stealing got stronger and stronger - to the point that not laming usually means you're playing at least slightly from behind.
