An NFT is simply a certificate of ownership. And crypto is short for cryptography. But what is that? It's basically a really hard puzzle to solve! So, NFTs are the certificate of ownership to our digital artwork; and crypto is the really hard puzzle which protects that certificate. When we put all of these together, the result is crypto art! The beauty of crypto art is that it will live for ever on the internet!
