SRAM GXP English/Italian threaded BSA bottom bracket review (apologies for poor video quality).
Apologies about the shit quality pixellation on this one. 😟 Unfortunately I only realised this too late; I don't have the silver BB anymore so I can't really redo this video. What happened? Well, I am using OBS studio to enable me to record 4k content with my logitech Brio webcam. This is not possible to do with the original Logitech software. Unfortunately OBS studio doesn't have the most intuitive user interface...😐
I was having trouble with video lag, I noticed I was getting a ~1 second lag which makes it much harder to do the videos if I have to show you something in front of the screen.
So the I chopped off the sides of the video by narrowing the aspect ratio a bit from 4096x2160 to 3840x2160 pixels. This way, there are 5% less pixels to render, which helps the speed a bit. But then another mistake was that the video then shifted to the left, it wasn't automatically centred and a black bar now shows on the right of this video. Whoops.😳
I also reduced the bitrate quality (but waaay too much obviously). I think that setting is only meant for living streaming. When I was recording the video, the quality comes out of the webcam and it looks great.👍 But it was recording with the massively reduced quality in the background. And silly me didn't check the recording until only after I'd already sold the SRAM BB. I didn't realise that it would look quite that bad, but it does. Sorry about that.😕
If I had 500+ subscribers then I probably would have redone the video with just the black BB version, but with only ~75 subscibers, I think you can excuse me for just publishing it "as is".
