today we are talking about Death Wobble. I did a video on jeep death wobble years ago on my main channel but I always get faced with new questions. There is lots of things that will cause symptoms like death wobble. However honestly death wobble is really only caused by 2 main things. Worn trackbar, meaning the trackbar itself is worn or the bolt holding it and or the bolt hole has been enlarged. the second most common issue with death wobble is worn control arm bushings.
so what is death wobble ? it is a harmonic resonance from loose or worn parts. it can be caused by hitting a bump or a certain speed. Once the axle starts to vibrate the only way to stop it is slow down and start again. Death wobble is commonly found in all sold axle vehicles.
