Old Dominion University senior writer Harry Minium has covered Old Dominion, Virginia Tech and other college sports in the commonwealth of Virginia for decades. He joined Inside the Gamecocks The Show this week to give an inside look at South Carolina's opponent in the season opener on Saturday, Aug. 31, the Old Dominion Monarchs of the Sun Belt Conference.
Minium told ITG that ODU has 56 new players on its roster, but returns steady and tough quarterback Grant Wilson, star linebacker Jason Henderson and others. He also covered Virginia Tech when Carolina head coach Shane Beamer was there as a player and has some stories.
