Ewa Kwiatkowska, Remote Sensing Scientist at EUMETSAT talks about the importance of the Copernicus Sentinel-3B satellite to help monitor Earth’s Living Aquatic Environments with the Ocean Colour data.
The Sentinel-3B satellite will be launched on April 25th 2018 and carries a suite of instruments to monitor different aspects of the oceans such as the temperature and colour of surface waters, sea surface height and sea ice thickness. It will also monitor land temperature and colour, and aerosols.
