Today we’re comparing the Real Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid to the Fake Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid. Whoa! Can't believe it's been a long time since we did our last Nendoroid Comparison Video. Glad to be back! 🦋

Here’s the usual Nendoroid Comparison Order:

💀 and lastly, we will compare the PRICE DIFFERENCE

As you watch the Nendoroid Comparison Video, please note that the Real Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid is displayed left side, while the Fake Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid right side.

Usually, when identifying a fake nendoroid through box details, the only 3 things that you want to spot first are the Anime series logo, in this case, DEMON SLAYER Series, the Nendoroid Series Logo and the Official GoodSmile Company Logo.

Tho I must say, fake nendoroid plastic packaging are improving. The sturdiness and thickness are almost the same as the real one. "Almost", atleast. 🤔

There are no more messy wide yellowish sticky tapes all over. I mean it’s a small detail but I guess they finally realized it looked dirty with all the tapes around it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Alright, let’s compare Nendoroid parts.

Starting with the Nendoroid base. A real Nendoroid base is frosted. It’s always like that. Once you receive a clear transparent base, best believe it’s a fake Nendoroid.

Another thing. authentic Nendoroid bases will always have the manufacturer printed on one side. LOOK FOR IT! If it doesn’t have that or any print detail on one of the sides of the base, then it’s definitely fake.

For Nendoroid faceplates, first thing I noticed are the difference in their supposedly skin color. The fake Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid faceplate looks like it’s cream color compared to the almond milk real Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid faceplate.

The details on the fake’s faceplate are darker and messy too. The eye colors look more vivid than the real Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid, and the transition from purple to black doesn’t look good. It also has this small white paint blots. In addition, the fake Nendoroid’s lipstick is smudged.

The smiling faceplate doesn’t have any noticeable so let’s just compare their heads. The real Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid or any new real Nendoroids actually have this hollow faceplates with open lower parts. This is where you connect the neck ball joint. The fake Nendoroid head still uses the old Nendoroid faceplate format.

It’s easy to identify a fake this way. 🌟

Okay so, with the Real Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid, the butterfly hair accessory can be removed with ease. With the fake Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid, you can’t do that. The butterfly accessory is tightly glued to the head.

Nendoroid body next. Obviously, the real Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid looks smooth, clean and without any stains or paint defects. 💖

Meanwhile, the fake Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid body has a very messy paint job. There’s also a bit of gloss all over, and the surface has rough details.

Unfortunately, I encountered a problem while filming this Nendoroid Comparison Video. The hole for the fake Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid stand was too small.

An obvious fake Nendoroid red flag by the way! 🤣🤣 This means, poses are very limited.

By the way, I bought the real Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid for 44 dollars. But nowadays, you can buy her for a bit cheaper because of the abundance of stocks.

The fake Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid tho, I bought at 14 dollars, shipping fee not included. As usual, the price gap is too big. 😞 I know the fake Shinobu Kocho Nendoroid price is too tempting but listen.

IT IS NOT WORTH IT! All the stuff I showed you just proves it.
