This is what you get when two trance-legends unite into one track. Legendary remix/producer M.I.K.E. aka PUSH remixed A GREAT DAY, one of the signature-tracks of iconic French trance-pioneers 2 FLYING STONES.
2 FLYING STONES, a project built around producer François-Xavier Legleye were about to become one of the biggest names in the 90s trance-scene, releasing 4 albums and a stack of classic-tunes between 1994 and 1997. Original 2 FLYING STONES-vinyls such as NUCLEAR JESUS IN PARADISE OF LOVE, MAYBE TOMORROW (DJ Georges’ After Outside Remix), KALYPSIA and ANALOG SIGNAL fetch up to 350€ on sites as eBay and Discogs. And also the newly-released 2024-vinyls are very wanted items.
Mike Dierickx on the other hand, started producing as early as 1992. After having released a few dozen of, highly-regarded, tracks under different project names such as THE AGRESSOR, DJ MIKE and RETURN OF THE NATIVE, he entered the major-league of trance with his classic UNIVERSAL NATION (under the alias of PUSH). Ever since, M.I.K.E. has never ceased to create, hitting big time every few months.
In 2024 M.I.K.E. puts 2 FLYING STONES, remembered by the 90s generation as the providers of some of the best early-trance-tunes, back on the map and catapults the band into the digital era with a brilliant remix of A GREAT DAY.
