I threw them aside, I watched them drown in the bay.
I know it all sounds the same, it’s nothing but a cliche.
I used to stand up with pride, I’m a knight - not a pawn.
But then I became everything I looked down on.
My younger self always knew what was best.
He only led with reason - his heart on his chest.
