@MakeGold The yellow stem flower, also known as the Rewadee flower, is the national flower of Thailand. It has the appearance of a medium sized shrub. The leaves are single, oval-shaped. The petals are bright yellow. Flowers bloom in clusters at the ends of the branches.
The scientific name of the yellow stem tree is Cassia fistula, the same genus as the Kham Saet tree. The Khamsaed tree is a plant in the same family as the yellow stem tree, but it has different characteristics. It has wishbone-shaped leaves instead of single leaves. ดอกต้นก้านเหลืองหรือที่เรียกว่า ดอกเรวดี เป็นไม้ดอกไม้ประจำชาตินักปกครองของไทย มีลักษณะเป็นไม้พุ่มขนาดกลาง ใบเป็นใบเดี่ยวรูปไข่ กลีบดอกมีสีเหลืองสดใส ออกดอกเป็นช่อตามปลายกิ่ง
ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ของต้นก้านเหลืองคือ Cassia fistula สกุลเดียวกับต้นคำแสด ต้นคำแสดเป็นพืชในตระกูลเดียวกับก้านเหลืองแต่มีลักษณะต่างกันคือ มีใบประกอบแบบปีกนกแทนใบเดี่ยว
