What's So Great About The Vera Rubin Observatory?
One of the world's largest and most innovative ground-based observatories is scheduled to come online in 2023 and promises to offer views of the heavens that will help our understanding of the universe like no other.
This 8.4 meter telescope will feature a 3200 megapixel camera, the highest resolution so far, take images of the entire night sky several time a week generating 20 terabytes of data every night.
