Maxim 9 - the world's first pistol with a built-in silencer
In the US, production of the world's first pistol with an integrated silencer, developed for the civilian market, began. At the gun show SHOT Show 2017, which is taking place these days in Las Vegas, SilencerCo presented the final sample of the Maxim 9 pistol and announced the launch of its serial production.
The manufacturer positions Maxim 9 as the world's first serial pistol with integrated silencer, created not by order of power structures. In addition, this is the first weapon that is placed in a holster with an installed silencer. Developing this model, SilencerCo has replaced several pistol platforms: Beretta 92, Smith & Wesson M & P, Glock 17 and others. Developers jokingly called Maxim 9 "muffler with a built-in gun."
