2023 BMW M2 vs. F87 M2 CS: DRAG RACE
In this video, we put the new 2023 BMW M2 up against the outgoing F87 M2 CS in a drag race. Both cars are powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine, but the M2 has a slight power advantage, making 453 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, compared to the M2 CS's 444 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque.
The new 2023 BMW M2 also weighs a bit less than the F87 M2 CS, tipping the scales at 3,714 pounds, compared to the M2 CS's 3,485 lb pounds. But will the extra 9 horsepower make up for the difference in weight?
