Honda XL600LM - B584AH
The Honda XL600LM was a tribute to the HRC Paris-Dakar rally machines of the 1980's and featured a square tube chassis and a 45hp twin carb RFVC engine, to which the limited edition XLM added a long range 7.4 gallon tank, twin headlights, works livery, tubeless tyres and more ... The XLM remains one of the most iconic single cylinder motorcycles of that time.
B584XAH is one of the earliest LM's made and features the sought after twin headlights and HRC colours. The bike was originally purchased to be used in the 2023 'Sandraiders; event which is a recreation of the legendary Paris-Dakar race of the 1980's but due to the originality of the bike it was decided to purchase a XT600 for the event instead. The bike has its original paint on the tank, original un painted side panels and original seat with suede top panel.
I have not seen such an original early model bike in such good condition and it took over 3 years to find this original
XL600LM motorbike. It was then sent to 'Foley Motorcycles' for a sympathetic restoration to include a complete engine top end rebuild (still to be run in) Full carb strip down and rebuild with new fuel tap and associated pipe work. MOT
until the 14th of September 2024. Just had new Anakee Wild tyres fitted (£308) come with one set of keys, V5C and tool kit in original storage box at the side of the seat.
