How to Cast Videos from Your Android Device to Your Smart Television or ChromeCast When Using a VPN
Using a VPN and changing your location, will enable you to access more content on video sites such as YouTube, Pluto TV and even Netflix. While it's easy to watch this content on your tablet, phone or laptop, while using a VPN, there's no obvious way to cast these videos to your smart television or ChromeCast, since the devices will be connected to your Wi-Fi and not a VPN.
There is, however, an easy way easily to do this by using your android device, and downloading a program called "Web Video Caster", which is available from the Google play store.
It works very much like a web browser, and allows you to cast and route videos from your android device straight to your Smart television or ChromeCast.
Please note, that your smart television might not support all video formats, but if you're using ChromeCast this should work with most video sites. You also need to make sure that you keep the app open, on your android device, unless it will stop casting.
