Your hero section needs to do two things: assure visitors they’re in the right place and guide them to take immediate action. When someone visits your website, they come with different levels of intent—some are just getting to know you, some are researching before buying, and others are ready to purchase. As a web designer, your job is to prioritize this user intent and create calls to action that guide them deeper down the funnel. Start by categorizing your sitemap into A, B, and C level pages, then plan out the connections between them. This strategy will help you craft content that directs users to the right area, ensuring a seamless and effective user journey.
