Xbox Activision Deal Blocked By The FTC?
Some of us want to see Xbox Activision deal blocked by the FTC so the latest news could lead to that. The Microsoft Activision Blizzard deal continues to rumble along and I avoid covering it that often. But between the latest Bobby Kotick interview, the FTC fines Microsoft, the CMA appeal hearing date set, and the suggestion the Xbox games could leave the UK, I need to catch everyone up.
Prior to now Jim Ryan, Phil Spencer, and Sony talked about a Call of Duty Xbox exclusive that would hurt the PlayStation 5 and the platform, the real plan is about mobile and cloud gaming. The ABK deal is still far from closing, and Brad Smith thinks the FTC's choice will help to speed things along.
