Buyers will be able to choose their 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee with six or seven seats.
The interior of the SUV features a new 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch head-up display and
next generation FCA infotainment system. This 7-seater Grand Cherokee is also the first Jeep to feature a digital rearview mirror.
The rest of the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee's cabin features the usual mix of leather upholstery and Piano Black trim with a new customizable circular lighting system.
In terms of engine and transmission, there are two engines to choose from in the US, although Jeep has yet to confirm if any of those engines will make it to Europe. The entry-level model is powered by the same 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine as the old Jeep Grand Cherokee, which develops the same 286 hp. and 348 Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard.
Above is the 5.7-liter V8 with 352 hp. and 528 Nm of torque. It is mated to the same eight-speed transmission as the V6 and features a cylinder deactivation system that can deactivate the engine's four cylinders while cruising, delivering a claimed 20 percent improvement in fuel economy.
The maximum speed of the vehicle is 206 kilometers.
And the difference from zero to 100 in the younger version takes 9.8 seconds, and in the older version 7.3 seconds.
Another fuel-efficient innovation in the 2022 Grand Cherokee is the front axle deactivation system, which automatically disengages front-wheel drive under light load conditions.
The system can lower the new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee by 21mm when driving on the motorway, which Jeep says will improve SUV performance and fuel efficiency.
Like the old model, the new 2022 Grand Cherokee also features a host of off-road technologies such as hill descent control and a five-speed drive mode system that includes settings for snow, mud and sand. Buyers can even get an off-road package for the Trail Rated Overland 4x4 model.
The new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 7 seats is equipped with a whole arsenal of safety equipment designed to keep the road.
Speaking of the cost of the car, the starting price is predicted to be around $ 40,000 (2.95 million rubles).
