Well, it's not a lie. It's definitely an Unidentified Flying Object. Can you determine what it is? I think it might just be some fireworks debris floating in the air since this was shot the night of Independence Day in the US. Which is known for having a lot of people shooting off fireworks. But, it could be a satellite too. Not sure.
This video was shot with my Celestron Nexstar Evolution 8 telescope connected to my Canon C100 video camera, and captured during my live stream of the eclipse.
EDIT (July 5th 2020 4:40pm) - A lot of people in the chat are suggesting a mylar “1” balloon, like from a birthday party. I hadn’t considered a balloon at all. This is a very good suggestion. I think that might be it, but I’ll never know for certain.
