Helicopters South Canterbury have a requirement for mission critical communications that are used on a day-to-day basis as they carry out agricultural, emergency response including police and fire, or in their words “whatever a helicopter can do”.
The communications solution provided to them by Ashley Communications ensures vital communication between both the helicopter pilot and the responding ground crew to properly coordinate the task at hand. Each aircraft is fitted with a Tait mobile radio and all their ground crew have Tait portables connected to headsets via Bluetooth services to help them carry out the job at hand.
