How to install Ubuntu 22.04 on Windows 10 2023 | Ubuntu on Laptop | Linux tutorial for beginner

1. Open the Microsoft Store: Open the Microsoft Store application on your Windows 10 computer.
2. Search for Ubuntu: In the search bar of the Microsoft Store, type "Ubuntu" and press Enter. Look for the official Ubuntu app.
3. Install Ubuntu: Click on the Ubuntu app in the search results and then click on the "Get" or "Install" button to initiate the installation process.
4. Launch Ubuntu: Once the installation is complete, you can launch the Ubuntu application from the Start menu or by searching for "Ubuntu" in the search bar.
5 . Complete initial setup: The first time you launch Ubuntu, it will perform some initialization tasks. This may take a few minutes.
6. Set username and password: During the setup process, you will be prompted to set a username and password for your Ubuntu installation. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
7. Use Ubuntu: After the setup is complete, you will have access to a Bash shell, and you can start using Ubuntu on your Windows 10 system. You can run command-line utilities, install packages, and execute Linux commands within the Ubuntu environment.
