Windows 7 Backup and Restore Create a Backup System Image
This is how to use Backup and Restore to create a backup system image. This image is an image, that must be applied as a full image. It's not a file level backup where you can pick and choose which files you would like to restore. This video is a quick demonstration on how to create a backup image of your computer's hard drive that can be restored should your hard drive fail or another reason.
If your drive should crash and you needed to restore, you would either use your system repair disk or you would use the Windows 7 DVD to boot up, and choose repair, and then point to the location you saved your image to.
