For this project, I wrote in a Gothic style, and illustrated the x height of the letters, which was 5 nib widths. I used a Pilot Parallel Pen with the 2.4mm nib width, green cartridge ink, a finer fountain pen with red ink and A4 paper sketch pad. The paper was a high quality 130gsm white cartridge paper. The Pilot pen was brilliant. However, there was some feathering and bleeding of the ink because of the paper quality and the amount of ink on the paper. Any recommendations for better paper on a budget for this particular pen would be gratefully appreciated and paper that can be found in the UK.
