So bungie has made it so that it’s easier to get into grand master nighfalls but they haven’t changed the actual difficulty of them
A great way to get asended shards is from master nightfalls as grandmaster nightfalls will come out later in the seasons
And ascendant shards are uncommon in
master nightfalls
And if your doing master nightfalls you won't get the adept versions of these nightfall weapons
you will only get the normal versions
and the best time to farm master nightfall strikes for asended shards is when it's double nightfall rewards
So you will be getting double the rewards you usually would get this means you will get more exotics as well as masterwork materials
And you can also buy asended shards from banshee from the tower
