In Street photography 1c we're going to concentrate on the market stalls and their wares because there are loads of ''streety' photos to be found on them - without the challenge of photographing strangers.
When you're walking down the street keep your eyes peeled and be ready for photo opportunities to present themselves. have your camera at the ready at all times and consider what you might need for each shot from the moment you see it. What angel is the light coming from? Is it hard or soft? Will I be backlighting and have to mind my exposure? What's the best focal length to use?
If you're unsure about any of these things please come see us for more free videos at http://www.photographycourses.biz/pho...
To be honest it's best to go out specifically to take photos because you'll drive your beloved 'other' mad ignoring them and studying light and angels etc!
Don't forget to ask traders fir permission to photograph their stalls and don't get in the way of their customers. Talking to street traders is also great practise in approaching strangers. As you discover they're actually not that scary it'll help build your confidence.
If someone doesn't want you to photograph their street stand - respect their wishes and DON'T take it personally.
