Keeping Organised CAD Files | What's New in SOLIDWORKS PDM 2025
The 2025 update introduces several enhancements to SolidWorks PDM. A new dedicated PDM tab in the Command Manager streamlines workflow with easy access to commands.
The "Get" command now includes revision columns for improved clarity, while users can check out components efficiently. Other updates include browsing selected items in a new window, customizing task pane toolbars, and displaying SolidWorks last open time as a column in Windows Explorer.
The bill of materials now supports a flattened view with quantity rollups, and administrators can access detailed user log data and define default BOM view settings for deployment.
