Overwatch 2 down time patch notes Oct. 7th, account merge fixes, missing items addressed, LC-208 fix

Today's Overwatch 2 hotfix is going to address some serious issues plaguing the game. First off there's the Overwatch LC-208 error that's going to get a fix. Also there has been an Overwatch 2 matchmaking broken bug that's going to hopefully get addressed as well. The most important fix on the table is the OVerwatch 2 account merging problem. There's been a huge issue where Overwatch 2 account merge not working has been a common thing people have been searching for. There have been screenshots of the Overwatch 2 account merge in queue message with a queue of up to 500,000 players. Today's downtime should address it with an Overwatch 2 account merge fix.
Additionally any Overwatch 2 cosmetics missing issues should get fixed in this patch. If you were one of the players who encountered Overwatch 2 missing skins, or Overwatch 2 missing everything for that matter, your issue should now be addressed. Additionally there's an issue where the Overwatch 2 watchpoint pack not working for ps4, playstation in general, and on consoles in general. Today will also see an Overwatch 2 watchpoint pack not working fix go out in the patch. Lastly the Overwatch 2 sms protect got removed in many cases, however, new accounts will still need it.
