Sailplane Crashes Into Bushes: Instructor Reacts!
This accident is on the gentle side thankfully! But still has a number of valuable lessons for all glider pilots. This pilot scratched up his glider after this aborted winch launch take off. That left him at a low altitude, and landed too far up the airfield to stop in time before rolling into a hedge. The glider also had a tail wind, up hill landing, and probably would have been fine if the wheel brake worked!
