How to do SMOOTH SLOW MOTION in Premiere Pro
To begin I added a video to my timeline that I want to do slow motion.
Select the razor tool then move the play head to where to want the slow motion to happen and add a cut.
Next, move the play head to where you want the slow motion to stop and add a cut there.
With selection tool, select the middle part, then right-click on it and go to speed/duration.
In the popup windows, set the speed to 50 percent and make sure rippled edit is checked, and click ok.
Now we have slow motion but it is not smooth, to smooth it, right-click again and go to speed/duration.
This time set time interpolation to optical flow and click ok.
Now press your clip and press enter to render it.
If you want to really slow down the video set the speed to a lower value like 20 percent and click ok.
