This video provides detailed calculations of short term deflection and long term deflections in a RCC beam.
Long Term Deflections are divided into 3 types
1) Deflection due to Shrinkage
2) Deflection due to creep under permanent loads
3) Deflection due to temperature.

All IS 456-2000 provisions are followed to solve the deflections.

The beam is cantilever beam carrying UDL and total deflection has been calculated.

The video was requested by channel member Mr. Rakshit Venkatesh from Mysore.
