Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction - E21 "Taking Down Emperor Tachyon"
Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is the fifth game in the Ratchet and Clank series and the first one for the PS3, developed by Insomniac and published by Sony in 2007. In this game, Ratchet and Clank travel to the Polaris galaxy after Kerwan is invaded by Emperor Tachyon, a cragmite who is intent on destroying Ratchet. Ratchet must learn more about the lombaxes and find the "lombax secret" to defeat Tachyon, while Clank is aided by a mysterious alien race known as the Zoni, who claim to be the key to Clank's past. This game returns to the formula from the original three games on the PS2 with some improvements. Weapons can now be upgraded through use and with raritanium, and there are new "devices", which are non-upgradable support weapons. This game also takes advantage of the PS3 controller's tilt functionality in a few areas. Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is available on the PS3 store for $9.99.
