Bulgogi with Rice or Bread? This easy and delicious Korean Bulgogi makes two fantastic dishes
Do you think bulgogi goes with rice? Or maybe bread?
There's no right or wrong answer. The combination of bulgogi, rice, and kimchi is perfect, but bread, which has a sweeter flavor than rice, makes a perfect meal when paired with sweet and sour sauce and vegetables.
Sometimes it's hard to make dinner when everyone in the family has different tastes, so why not make a quick and easy Korean Bulgogi, and then have all the ingredients for sandwiches and bulgogi bowls on hand for a meal that everyone will love? Bulgogi burgers or sandwiches are delicious in any combination, even if you add more mayonnaise or sprinkle ketchup on top. Not to mention rice bowls... I heard that bulgogi rice bowls are a new menu item at Jinny’s Kitchen (Amazon Prime) this week, so I'm curious to see how it will be served...^^.

[ Bulgogi ]
500g bulgogi meat (sirloin)
30 g (2 T) sugar
30 g (1.5 T) corn syrup - can be replaced with 30 g sugar or honey
20 g (1 T) onion, finely grated
20 g (1 T) garlic, grated
60 g (4 T) soy sauce
30 g (2 T) sesame oil
1 g (1/2 t) black pepper
half an onion, sliced, about 120 g
about 40 g green onion bunches
1 red pepper, about 20 g
40 g mushrooms (optional)
[ Mayonnaise for Sandwiches]
40 g (2 T) mayonnaise
20 g (1 T) sriracha sauce
5 g (1 T) jalapeño, diced
[ How to make ]
1. Slice the beef into thin slices of about 1-2 mm.
2. Add the sugar, corn syrup and mix well and leave to marinate for about 10 minutes.
3. Add the rest of the seasonings and marinate for about 30 minutes (but it's also delicious right away)
4. Cut the onion and scallions into thin slices and mix them with the marinated meat and roast in a pan
5. Serve with rice or bread according to your preference.
