I got Pico 4 undergoing testing with the latest OS 5.7.1 onboard. This update has really improved hand tracking, showing significant improvements over the previous 5.6.0 version – it's quite the leap forward.
Now, if you're pondering the eternal Pico 4 Vs. Quest 2 debate, you'll want to get into the nitty-gritty of their specific features. One key aspect to dive into is hand tracking. It's worth mentioning that comparing Quest 2 and Pico 4 might be a tad uneven, mainly due to the fact that Meta has gone through multiple iterations of hand tracking. However, as things stand today, you can actually put them head-to-head and see which one truly nails it in terms of accurate hand tracking.
✅ Also I've done multiple tests with Unity by using Oculus Integration and Interaction SDK, both work amazingly well. PICO 4 with XRI also is now working as well. If you're curious about PICO 4 with Unity XRI et me know, and I can do a video about it.
