A Short Cinematic Travel Lifestyle and Inspirational Film about exploring the concept of Limits within the human experience, during an unforgettable motorcycle road trip through Wyoming.
This video specifically captures and documents my visually stunning 21-day motorcycle road trip across the state of Wyoming USA, during my continued 10-year solo motorcycle road trip across the world, which has covered over 70 countries, 6 continents and 250,000 miles to date.
I invite you to join me on my journey through life in this unique perspective in a visual and auditory experience through the state of Wyoming, where I explore the famous tourist sites, abundant nature and wildlife, unrelenting history, and unique activities like firing an antique 1795 black powder American rifle, while simultaneously taking the road less traveled metaphorically and literally. This journey allowed me to explore my own personal limits, what that means, how far we're willing to go in life, and what pushing past those challenges, doubts and limits means for all of us during difficult challenges and moments of hopelessness and despair. This personal narrative can apply to everyone in their own daily life challenges, philosophy and challenges.
It's been almost 14 months since I last uploaded or created a video......why...... because I was completely burnt out.... I started traveling back in 2011, my motorcycle trip from Alaska to Argentina in 500 days created lots of content, videos, pictures and more... I had my 10 minutes of fame with my viral selfie video that started a YouTube career back in May 2014....I then traveled around the world for the next 6 years creating different types of travel content....6 years, no break, no home, no stability, daily editing .... it was a lot to take and do. Editing every night and shooting every day.... 18 hour days at times.... it was just too much and I over did it and burnt out hard..... falling into a hole that took a long time to escape from.
In that time, I've gone through difficult challenges, life changing moments, loss of people close to me, negative states of mind and self.... I lived a different life for these last 2 years that never really felt like it was my own. I got accustomed to the repetitive lifestyle, comfortable living conditions, and making deep meaningful connections with others ... I even had a relationship that enriched me deeply but ultimately failed.... it has taken almost 3 years to truly find my passion, self, my positive state of mind, purpose, creativity, inspiration and reasons to come back.... and HERE WE ARE!
The path ahead for my content is still in development. This first video sets up a creative idea I had brewing for quite some time...it reflects my current feelings, path and life. I hope it can provide some inspiration and motivation for those that might also be struggling with similar ideas like I was dealing with. I am certainly still learning filmmaking but have decided to move to more cinematic, more professional-looking content along with personable content like interviews and vlogs as well.
