For more than 10 years PJD has been working on increasing the dancers’ Awareness about the Hip Hop culture. Hyper Week Camp in particular has been focused on the deepest technical, stylistic and artistic training. Also the camp gives the chance to teachers, dancers and students to express their selves at 360° because before being dancers we are human beings!
That’s why Hyper Week is so unique: because of the personal relationships that students and teachers build during the camp. Dancers/students have the opportunity to live, talk, argue, laugh, joke, eat, sleep and of course dance and play anywhere, anytime with their dance tutors and other fellows for the whole week!
Daily classes are actually just some moments of inspiration. The very training starts outside of the classroom, in the freest way or in cyphers, situations where dancers and students are spending time together in the exchanges, sharing experiences and their knowledge.
HYPER WEEK MAIN PURPOSE
Against the extreme individualism emerging in nowadays societies Hyper Week aims to be a moment of some sane passion and dance in a frame of an unusual holidays on the shores of wonderful Sicily. A moment where the artist, that lives inside anyone of us, can freely express his greatness, humanity, genialness, technical skills and styling attitude by sharing this with others.
All dancers, teachers, guests and students are going to live together 100% Hip-Hop atmosphere. Just after few hours from the start people from all over the world begin to feel themselves a part of something big and strong: our Hyper Week family!
