I love cooking in carbon steel but have never taken it camping and on overland trips due to the packing constraints poised by the handle configuration. We found this new Oxo Outdoor Carbon Steel 10" skillet at REI with a removable handle and thought that was a great idea IF the pan was decently made. Never being one to shy away from testing gear I purchased one to test and came away pretty blown away by the performance of the pan-So check out the video and see for yourself!
