Goodbye LastPass! Why It's Time to Move to Bitwarden or Authenticator NOW.
LastPass recently announced that users of LastPass Free will no longer be able to use the software on their desktops and mobile devices after March 16th, 2021. In this episode, I explain how the announcement will affect LastPass Free users and the options for upgrading to LastPass Premium. I also weigh up the two best password manager alternatives: Bitwarden and Microsoft Authenticator.
⚡ Update! The Bitwarden app on Android does support unlocking with biometric authentication but it's not enabled by default. You need to enable it under Settings/Security/Unlock with Biometrics.
