This problem is due to the internal problem of the hard disk. The hard disk drive should be replaced as soon as possible. Windows detected a hard disk error- the main cause of this message is the bad sectors in the hard disk. Using the group policy edit, we can disable the hard disk diagnostic alerts. This will stop all alerts regarding the hard disk failure.
Disable this group policy setting.
1.in the run type 'gpedit.msc'
2. Under computer configuration, click 'administrative template'
3. Click on 'system '
4. Click 'troubleshooting and diagnostic'
5. Click 'disk diagnostic '
6. Click disk diagnostic 'configure execution level '
7. Select 'disabled' and apply ok.
8. Restart the computer.

This one tested in windows 7 ok. This may be working in windows 8, 8.1, and in windows 10 also.
