Not sorry for clickbait. The gloves gave it away anyways.

Explanation: Hexblast of Contradiction has better damage scaling than normal hexblast. However damage penetration is hard as all chaos damage it deals to monsters are resisted by the highest value instead. Therefore we go pure added damage instead and here we use physical damage to spells with help of the Adorned jewel. And since gem level no longer matter with brutality, we use level 1 for minimum mana cost/reservation.
