Installing DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11 on 386SX/25 PC
Installing a vintage operating system (in fact two) on a vintage PC emulated with PCem v17. I proceed to install DOS 6.22, run drvspace (drive space), surface scan, defrag and memmaker then install Windows 3.11 for workgroups all from floppy disk!
We then experiment with Soundblaster 2.0 drivers, and Soundblaster 16 drivers, attempt to play some bundled games (does not go well) and overall have a very authentic time playing with windows.
We edit autoexec files, config.sys files, and attempt to make Windows an enjoyable experiance.
Lots of guests share memories of their old machines, and help me troubleshoot some common windows issues, including editing the system.ini and win.ini files.
A real nostalgia trip for anyone who discovers the stream.
