A review of the Azden SGM-250 super-cardioid shotgun mic, as well as an overview of the others in the SGM-250 Series (the SGM-250P and SGM-250CX). I go over specs, and provide audio samples to check out -- in fact, the entire review was shot with the SGM-250 so you can really get a great idea of the quality.

Of note: The 250 Series from Azden carries a 10 year warranty (with online registration), otherwise it is 2 years. So clearly they have faith in the product.

My first shotgun mic was the Azden SGM-2x that I bought in 2006, and have been using that literally all over the world. It's been beat up (despite my best attempts to always keep it safe), and it still performs like the day I got it.
