This video will show you how I think during a graphic design process and how I approach a project. Where do I find inspiration for the design? How do I come up with the solution and the idea?
In this first episode, I will walk you through my design process and thinking for this trifold brochure made for a German non-profit. It uses bold colors, polygon shapes and playful, fresh design - all inspired by a single asset I had from the client - their logo.
The most important step for me is the analysis of the brand and pointing out its tone, main characteristics and its visual language. Use everything you have at your disposal to begin with.
Learn how to analyze and use the assets from the client that you have to find a starting point for your design. Once you have identified something to grab onto, the fun starts!
