Punjab And Haryana High Court Recruitment 2024: Applications Open For 300 Peon Posts
Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, has announced recruitment for 300 vacant posts of peon. The last date to apply for this is September 20. There is a golden chance for the 12th pass to get a government job. An application has to be made by visiting the website of the Punjab and Haryana High Court: https://highcourtchd.gov.in/. Recruitment for the post of peon will be based on written tests and physical tests. The online application for this recruitment started on August 25. According to the notification, out of 300 vacant posts, 243 are for general category candidates. There are 30 vacancies for SC, ST, and BC and 15 vacancies for ex-servicemen.
Age limit for peon recruitment:
The age limit of candidates for the recruitment of peons in Punjab and Haryana High Court is 18 to 35 years. Disabled candidates will get 10 years of relaxation, and ex-servicemen will get three years of relaxation equal to defence service.
Application fee:
1. SC/ST/BC candidates from general and other states: Rs 700
2. SC/ST and BC candidates from Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh: Rs 600
3. Ex-Servicemen: Rs 600
Selection Process:
For recruitment to the post of peon, first there will be a written exam of 100 marks; 50 multiple-choice questions will be asked. These questions will be related to general knowledge, general awareness, current affairs, and numerical ability. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English; 90 minutes will be given for this. To pass the exam, general category candidates will have to score 50 percent marks, and other category candidates will have to score 45 percent marks.
