Highlighting a text in a blog post is one of the ways to draw the reader’s attention to important information. It also helps readers skim through the article easily.
You can easily apply text highlighter using a simple CSS command in the text editor in #wordpress.
Steps to Highlight text in WordPress Gutenberg Editor
✅ 1. Open your wordpress post editor and select the paragraph where you want to highlight the text.
✅ 2. Now change the block to HTML view and add a mark tag as shown in the video.
✅ 3. Now switch back to normal by clicking on Edit visually in the three-dot icon.
Steps to highlighting text in Elementor
✅ 1. Open Elementor & select the text editor where you want to highlight text.
✅ 2. switch to text option from visual as shown in the video
✅ 3. paste the CSS code just before the highlighted text and close the text with the closing span tag.
✅ 4. Change the highlight color by changing the hex code
✅ Note: You can use the "Mark" tag in Elementor also.
